I apologize for the lack of work as of late, it’s quite a busy time. I just got an opportunity to display work at a small family owned gallery in Manhattan called the Medalia. The show is called “C/O Movement in Comix” if anyone is interested in seeing! Some amazing works are here in this gallery!
For more info visit here~
This is one of the pics on display at the gallery, promoting my graphic novel in progress: © Animal Arithmetic. They are studies of the main character, Kay Dee (The Fox).
The style of the story is in black and white with pops of color, to signify the seriousness of the characters’ conflicts in their environment. Inspiration for this idea derives from the days of graffiti warfare, especially movements of Banksy, Swoon Studio, Keith Haring, and Basquiat. The energy of the lines comes from active listening of Hip Hop poetry.

#is a nono
I’ve recently created an instagram because a friend of mine informed that some kiddos are posting my work and unsourcing it. Look, im not pointing fingers, but come on guys. Source an artist’s work if you want to use it in other places ok? It’s not that hard.
Also, I have copyrights to my styles and many of my characters that fall under it. I’d hate to be that person who empties a wallet. I’m not that kind of person but if push comes to shove I will do what i must.
Thank you for reading dears :)
Popliteal Fossae Magazine has chosen you for an interview. Please partake and expand our online presence by answering at your convenience: What are you most interested in at this time in relation to your work? What do you think of the idea that meaningful work should provoke an audience leading them to think more critically in order to see social injustice, etc. and be moved to act for change in the world? Who do you think the perfect audience for your work would be? -Popliteal Fossae
Ah, Hello dears! Thank you for asking, I’ll be glad to answer these questions for you :)
Well at this time, the plan for my artwork is to reach two audiences whether separate or together: young children and teens-adults. Two audiences that shape the world ultimately. I make children’s books specifically with the morals of keeping hope and the young alive. But for adults and teens, they are living the bitter end of the fight that will continue for the rest of their lives, and they need material to help them keep the spirit to fight for what’s right.
I am 100% for meaningful work that gets people to take a closer look at society and whats happening in the world. As a matter of fact, my newest copyrighted idea in the works, Animal Arithmetic, is a graphic novel about kids who grow up and witness the government take away the basic rights of the people to just be themselves. In this story, they fight the government for the right to truthfully exist, and if people don’t start waking up and looking at the “slick shit”(excuse the language) some authoritative figures pull to screw up society, were headed down a scarily possible dystopia like the Hunger games, Fahrenheit 451 or 1984 prophesied about.
Animal Arithmetic seeks to tackle problems on all ends. Racism, sexism, discrimination of sexual orientation, error in the public education systems, meaningless violence and war…etc. You name it, it’s addressed in A.A. It is my great hope that once the artbook is finalized this year, as well as a promo website, publishers will take interest in spreading this idea as a mode of spreading social injustice awareness to the generations growing up.
Protagonists of my graphic novel in progress: Animal Arithmetic. Once the artbook for this is finished, I will release more info on the story. Its a big difference from my normal cute and children’s style, and the audience is older teen and up because of such themes as dystopia and realistic violence. Now, this isn’t a bloodfest, this is the story of what will happen if the government, and pretty much everyone on earth doesn’t wake up soon about important matters that plague our lives.
